The Houthis in Yemen present a significant security challenge for Israel despite the geographical distance. Historically, Israel has engaged with armed groups in close proximity to its borders, but the situation with the Houthis is more complex. While I believe Israel possesses the intelligence capabilities necessary for targeted strikes, akin to those executed against Hamas and Hezbollah, the intelligence on the Houthis may not yet be as developed. Israel has proven its ability to conduct effective strikes against enemy infrastructure and personnel from considerable distances, as seen in its operations against Iran. These missions rely heavily on well-developed intelligence gathered over time. The Iranian axis is weakened, presenting a potential opportunity for Israel to deliver impactful blows to the Houthis in the coming months or even years. This may require collaboration with other nations. Israel has made it clear to the Houthis that they are under scrutiny, and I believe that the Jewish state is determined to translate its warnings into action.
