Israeli police and the Shin Bet intelligence agency said they uncovered a significant security breach involving a domestic network that received Hamas funds from Turkey and funneled them to support terrorist activities in the West Bank: A major terrorist financing infrastructure linked to Hamas was exposed in a joint operation by Israel Police's Lahav 433 Cyber Unit and the Shin Bet. The network, operated by Israeli Arab citizens, funneled millions of shekels from Hamas operatives in Turkey into the West Bank to support terrorist activity. Six individuals — Fadi Arabi, Muhammad Tzitz, Adham Dolani, William Hanna, Sami Hanna, and Suhail Bashir — have been indicted for offenses including contact with foreign agents and handling terrorist funds. The investigation revealed that Fadi Arabi coordinated the operation with his brother Nissim Arabi in Turkey and Hamas-affiliated Wajdi Saadi. Several couriers, knowingly involved, helped smuggle the funds. This case marks a significant security breach, with authorities emphasizing the seriousness of Israeli citizens assisting terrorist organizations and vowing continued efforts to dismantle such threats.
