Hamas spokesperson Abu Obeida claimed Hamas had lost communication with the group of captors holding American citizen Edan Alexander hostage following an Israeli airstrike on their position. --- Nobody should be surprised by this propaganda and I strongly caution that Hamas has produced outright lies about the hostages in the past to advance the Islamist group's agenda. Hamas did not produce evidence to support its claim.
