The Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF) said it delivered 1,386,000 meals today across two distribution hubs in Gaza. Sixteen truckloads at the Saudi Neighborhood and nine at Wadi Gaza, bringing the total meals delivered to approximately 11.5 million via nearly 192,500 boxes. The GHF said distribution proceeded without incident. GHF continues refining its delivery model for maximum safety and reach and is planning to expand operations into northern Gaza. GHF Interim Executive Director John Acree praised the team’s performance, noting that over 11 million meals have been delivered without injury or major incident. He reaffirmed GHF’s commitment to serving the people of Gaza despite threats, specifically referencing Hamas’s recent intimidation of both GHF workers and Palestinian civilians receiving aid. Acree called on the international community to unequivocally condemn Hamas’s threats, stating that targeting aid workers or civilians is unjustifiable and the world is watching. GHF also warned of misinformation and fake Facebook pages spreading false claims about its operations. It emphasized that its official Facebook page is intended solely for logistical updates to Gazans. Lastly, GHF urged media outlets not to conflate its aid activities with Israeli military operations elsewhere in Gaza, stressing the importance of accurate reporting in an active war zone.
