On June 18, 2025, the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF) reported that it had surpassed a major milestone, distributing over 30 million meals in the first three weeks of operations. Today, GHF provided 3,049,200 meals across three distribution sites: SDS2 in the Saudi Neighborhood (1,053,360 meals), SDS3 in Khan Younis (1,496,880 meals), and SDS4 in Wadi Gaza (498,960 meals), delivered through a total of 55 truckloads and 52,800 boxes. The cumulative total reached approximately 30,844,462 meals distributed in Gaza in three weeks of operations. GHF said that aid distribution at all sites occurred without incident. In a statement, GHF Interim Executive Director John Acree praised the dedication of workers on the ground and emphasized that the organization remains focused on its mission to feed the people of Gaza, even in one of the world’s most volatile environments. Acree noted that the delivery of 30 million meals without incident is a major operational achievement and reiterated GHF’s commitment to scaling up efforts. The update also addressed and corrected false media reports linking GHF to violent incidents. GHF stated that several major outlets, including the Washington Post, Reuters, and CNN, had to correct their reporting after the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) confirmed that the reported casualties occurred at a UN WFP site, not a GHF location. GHF expressed concern over a growing pattern of false information originating from the Hamas-run Gaza Health Ministry and repeated by media such as Al Jazeera, warning that these narratives misrepresent the reality on the ground. The foundation reaffirmed its support for the UN's humanitarian efforts but called for more accurate and responsible reporting.
