Yesterday, Hamas published material hinting it would abduct IDF soldiers. It published this image of a hand clutching dog tags. This imagery has been used by Hamas in reference to abducted soldiers/civilians. Hamas noted that additional prisoners could be captured by the group.

Terrorists in Gaza attempted to abduct an IDF soldier in Khan Yunis, according to initial findings by the Israeli military. The soldier fought the terrorists, and they shot and killed him. The IDF thwarted the attempted abduction when it struck some of the terrorists with fire.
