This is so incredibly stupid. The “resistance” in most Hollywood films don’t rape, murder, torture, and deliberately put their own people in harm’s way. If Princess Leia was Princess Sinwar (impossible because women aren’t leaders in Hamas-style resistance but work with me), she would have been totally stoked to have the Death Star blow up Alderaan because it would play into her PR strategy. Hamas isn’t a Hollywood style band of heroes. It’s a real world gang of thugs, murderers, rapists, bigots and theocrats. Audiences don’t root for the resistance, they root for the “good guys” and Hamas are in no way, shape, or form, the good guys. They’re evil.
