You don’t have to be this obtuse. Two things can be true at once: Voter ID can be a good idea and it doesn’t matter that much in terms of election results. The person I was responding to claimed that Democrats only win because of a lack of voter ID laws and will never win again if they’re passed. That’s idiotic nonsense. But that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t have voter ID laws. I’m glad I could clarify this for you.
