Communism also condenses human beings into cogs of a soulless oppressive machine.

Communism condenses revolutionary ideals into symbols like the hammer and sickle (☭), the star (⭐) and the red banner (🔴)—which is your favorite?

📝 Notes:

▪️ Note that “communism” calls for a stateless, classless society, whereas “socialism” usually means collective ownership of resources. Leaders adopted the “communist” label to signal a radical break from capitalism—a rallying cry that persisted even as many states practiced socialism under single-party rule.

▪️ The flag of 🇨🇺 Cuba, which was adopted in 1849, has a star, but it was created before the Cuban Revolution and is not related to communism. Something similar happens with other states such as 🇱🇦 Laos.

▪️ Some flags have been adjusted to a 2:3 ratio for better visualization.
