I’m fine with getting rid of all subsidies for energy. But if we’re going to have them, maybe the metric should be dollar spent versus unit of energy produced. According to that formula, oil is way less subsidized than wind and solar. Anti-oil people love to point to the raw dollars but not the ROI.
