I take very seriously the warnings of the people who are actually building the technology I would trade away the political issue in a heartbeat if Rs and Ds worked together to impose a slowdown ASAP I'm annoyed that some SV tech bros supported Trump, but I'm much angrier that they seem to think their expertise at making money translates to expertise in every other area, and dismiss most criticism as somehow rooted in bad faith motivation

@jonfavs As a long time listener, I’m legitimately curious - are you actually terrified of AI, or do you think it is a politically useful wedge issue, or are you so pissed (rightfully) at the Silicon Valley bros who supported Trump that you’re just opposed to anything they do?
