First they gave ICE immunity for its actions. Then more money than most of the world's militaries. Then they recruited violent, unvetted individuals. Then they bought them lethal military equipment. Then they deployed them domestically. Then they masked them and shielded them from scrutiny. Then they gave them freedom to kill Americans in the streets. Then they said they'd be stationed at polling places. Now they're building a database on how everyone voted. America now has a private, secret police force, violently deployed at home, cross referenced against your loyalty to the President. This is the playbook of every authoritarian takeover in history
