Not sure how many get that if you have a task where AI speeds up 50% of current work by 1000x and 50% by 2x the entire task is sped up by ~4x and not more than that! There's a System I bias towards thinking it's 500x -- even serious policy people do this -- and this is distorting the AI impacts discourse
