Nice to meet you! I'm not sure my core point came across, which is that while we *should* implement the 20+ year old catechism (defense in depth, liability, etc) we also need to internalize just how weird and sci-fi things are about to get and all the new questions that raises for our field. There's a subset of security folks, many of whom I respect / look up to, who I feel are not totally getting that second part
