Here’s how I would solve the homeless situation in LA with one decision. I would cut the “homeless budget” from almost $1B to just $20m. The non-profits would dissolve because there’s no more money to steal, resulting in a lack of free drugs/tents/etc that keeps the homeless on the streets and encourages those from other cities and states to come camp out here. Reduction in the homeless would follow.
