Was in a press conference and someone presenting himself as a freelance reporter asked if Israel condemns Ukraine naming a street after Nazi collaborator Bandera. The question sounded fishy to me because while that’s bad, it isn’t something new - and it turned out he was talking about something that happened 9 years ago. Then I googled the reporter, and he’s mentioned by name in repeated studies about Russian influence and disinformation campaigns targeting Israel!! Btw Sa’ar’s response was basically that while Israel generally opposes such phenomena, he isn’t aware of the particular case and has to look into it. The propagandist was like “everyone knows about this!” And Sa’ar was like, “you know it. I don’t.”
