Adam Boehler is not only negotiating with Hamas, he’s talking like them 🧵 In this video he talks about “exchanging massive amounts of hostages.” Whatever Boehler thinks he’s telegraphing to Hamas, he’s telegraphing it to the world, too, and it’s legitimizing hostage-taking by making it out to be a normal taking of prisoners in wartime. In fact, Hamas took civilians hostage in their pajamas at home, or at a music festival, while Israel released convicted mass murderers and prisoners caught committing security offenses.
