Other Knesset members have used their parliamentary immunity to reveal classified information to blow the whistle on potential government abuses (see: Prisoner X). I don't remember them being prosecuted for it. Our elected representatives have immunity for a reason, and the people who like to lecture us about democracy day in and day out should remember that.

The State Attorney's Office has informed Likud MK Tally Gotliv that the attorney general is considering indicting her on criminal charges, pending a hearing, on suspicion of violating the Shin Bet Law after she published classified information without authorization regarding the identity of a Shin Bet employee, the attorney general says in a statement.
