I think this is the most striking thing about the initial GOP response. Wallowing in the unfairness of it all rather than embracing the fact that they have an opponent they would have considered a gift until 24 hours ago.

@ReubenR80027912 @LPDonovan Trump is stuck in “this isn’t fair” mode. Vance is working on getting the woman vote out for Harris. Many Republicans are awkwardly falling all over themselves. I didn’t expect responding to Harris would be this difficult for them but I guess I should have.
