Good morning from Gaza, where the first act of rebuilding after genocide is restoring the education and future of a generation they tried to break. These kindergarten students have just completed their school year. Over the past year, they still attended classes under Israeli bombardment, and their parents sent them to school unsure whether they would return home.. But none of this has stopped a people determined to protect its children’s future and preserve what Gaza has always been known for: one of the lowest illiteracy rates in the world.
