🇩🇪 Russia is retaliating against Germany’s recent diplomatic closures. Moscow says it is withdrawing permission for the German Consulate General in St Petersburg to operate. It must close by September 18, with all staff required to leave Russia. Russia is also ordering Germany’s Goethe cultural centres in the country to cease operations.
