🚨🇺🇸FRIEND OF MANGIONE: “UNFATHOMABLE” THAT HE’S ACCUSED OF MURDER A former classmate and roommate of Luigi Mangione expressed shock over the news of his arrest for the murder of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson. “This is unfathomable,” the friend, identified as RJ, said during an interview. RJ described Mangione as a “thoughtful” and “friendly” person who led a book club, loved hiking, and frequently discussed social issues with an inquisitive nature. RJ confirmed Mangione had back surgery but said he never talked about guns or violence, adding: “I can’t make any sense of it.” Mangione, 26, was arrested in Altoona, PA, where his backpack was found to contain a 3D-printed gun and silencer.
