🇭🇺 Hungary sees massive voter turnout in pivotal election that the EU and Zelensky are hoping will unseat PM Orban. 54% of votes had been cast by 1pm local time, far higher than previous elections. On a recent trip, JD Vance accused the EU of "one of the worst examples of election interference I have ever seen or ever even read about.” Orban has previously blocked some European aid packages to Ukraine, saying it’s not our war, and is heavily focused on improving Hungary, which hasn’t made him many fans in the EU. 🚨BREAKING: 🇭🇺🇷🇸 PM Orban announces emergency defence council meeting after Serbia found an explosive device attached to "critical gas infrastructure linking Serbia and Hungary." Russian officials, including Putin, have previously warned that Ukraine was planning to sabotage the pipeline, and a report in the WSJ claimed that the Nord Stream gas pipeline was blown up by a small Ukrainian sabotage team.
