Judges Are these judges planning to start running all the agencies? This is really judges run amok here. The executive branch is charged fully with the executive function. It’s up to them how to staff and operate these agencies subject only to Senate approval of high ranking officials. They are preventing terminations, examinations of expenditures, reviews of contracts, and are in effect highjacking the presidency at the drop of a hat here with suits that have a low probability of being successful. If there are wrongful terminations, employees will be entitled to damages and other remedies but judges should not be blocking executive action of a new president with a new vision on how to accomplish the job at hand. Are they going to mandate the number of employees that must be in every department and who they are? It is time for higher courts to step in and respect the separation of powers rather than any random district level judge being able to mandate how the executive branch is to be run. No TROs should have been issued here as these suits have a low probability of being successful. And DOGE should be given full access to all information. They are operating at the behest of the president and have no direct authority beyond making recommendations. All actions taken upon their recommendations are at the behest of the president who is responsible.
