According to @politicoalex, about a week ago Trump patched things up with Jeff Yass a major Club for Growth donor and a TikTok investor. Then yesterday with no warning Trump came out in favor of continued PRC ownership of TikTok. 🤔

Trump's flip-flop on TikTok is beyond stunning. None of the underlying issues have changed. The biggest difference between his exec order and the legislation is that the EO was written amateurishly (thus proved unenforceable) and the bill has a better chance of having an impact.
