²³ 29-March-2025, Deir Al Balah Combatant #38 Muhammad Youssef Abu Zubaydah This is a particularly interesting and revealing case that highlights how the Ministry of Interior and National Security, as well as "civil defence" training, is conducted in Gaza. Muhammad is described as a mujahid and a heroic martyr in mourning posts. According to his social media account, he had been part of Gaza's (Hamas) Internal and National Security Department since 2017 and worked within Gaza civil defence. What stands out is the military training Muhammad received, as seen in the collage of images I attached. Regardless of his training as a fighter, he was included in this list because of descriptions on social media. Two of his friends who were killed alongside him were likely also combatants, but aside from a few hints ("heroic martyr"), I did not find anything concrete.
