Upon his release from Israeli prisons, Luay Al-Awei, from the West Bank city of Hebron made an emotional phone call to his family, anxiously asking if his mother was still alive. Al-Awei was arrested in January 2006, he was sentenced by Israeli courts to five life terms in prison
