I recall mtg Richard Close (RIP) in 2000 when I served on VALLEY VOTE with him, when he was the longtime President of SOHA. I know you newcomers to Los Angeles who raise the rents, gentrify our neighborhoods and displace our black and latino families in Los Angeles don’t quite get the San Fernando Valley. That’s ok, on Election Day per usual the Valley will vote for the candidate that wants to support our local police officers (fun fact, did you know LAPPL membership better reflects our LA population numbers better then UTLA, 🤔), remove dangerous homeless encampments for our local elementary schools, preschools and child care centers as their next Mayor of LA.

I'm sorry the Sherman Oaks Homeowners Association didn't pay for a zoom account that would have allowed more people to watch the unhinged mayoral debate I just watched. Second largest city in the country! Home to Hollywood! It was in a rec room and the moderator closed by asking the audience to help put away the chairs!
