TWEEPS: 11 years ago today, the unthinkable happened at the Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, CT: 26 students and staff, including 20 children, were murdered by an AR-15 wielding gunman. The nation mourned. Our President wept. Republicans refused to do anything about it, except suggest fewer doors, arming teachers, and having our little ones practice shooting drills instead of their multiplication tables.
