I just watched a video of Hilal’s father bidding him farewell. In his poignant speech, the father said that his son had already lost his mother, brother, and grandfather. That is not what Western media will report if they ever cover the killing of Hilal and the hundreds of children Israel has slaughtered over the past few months of this so-called “ceasefire.” If you call yourself human, if you are a parent, grandparent, uncle, aunt, or teacher, look Hilal in the face and promise to speak out against his killing and against Israel’s campaign to erase the Palestinian people.
