Hizbullah is humiliated and defeated. On May 24, 2000, Israel pulled back from southern Lebanon to the international border line, in compliance with UN Security Council Resolution 425. As a result, Hizbullah was celebrated in Lebanon as the victor, which enabled them to gain much power. Later, Hizbullah made a big mistake by assassinating the Lebanese Prime Minister Al Hariri and forcing an iron grip over Lebanese politics using intimidation, which eventually led to the collapse of the Lebanese economy and society. On Oct 8, Hizbullah launched an unjustified war against Israel in solidarity with Hamas terrorists in Gaza, which resulted in the displacement of 80,000 Israeli citizens in the North. After a long year of patience under Hizbullah's attacks came the Israeli powerful response, which resulted in the assassination of Hizbullah's most prominent leaders and the destruction of their military. What is awaiting Hizbullah internally is a lot worse than their humiliating defeat. They made so many mistakes and enemies over the past 4 decades, and I don't think the Lebanese people will forgive them for what they did to Lebanon.
