One thing comes out of this conflict in Gaza: Hamas are *amazing* at information warfare. I don’t think anyone has ever done it better in history. They’ve taken a situation where they commit an horrific massacre of rapes and mutilation; sacrifice their own people in spite of overwhelming Israeli efforts to protect them; and refuse a ceasefire. And yet: they’ve managed to sell it to the world that the massacre was deserved; it wasn’t as bad as Israel says; that civilian human shield deaths are Israel’s fault; and the failure of ceasefire talks is Bibi’s fault. Objectively, it’s remarkable. An absolute masterclass in propaganda.
