A new depressing Palestinian public opinion poll: 🔴 71% say it was a correct decision to commit October 7 massacre 🔴 81% of those who watched the videos of the massacre said Hamas didn’t commit atrocities 🔴 63% prefer “Return of Hamas” to Gaza 🔴 52% oppose a two-state solution 🔴 46% say the best way of achieving a Palestinian state is through armed struggle The poll also found that 40% prefer jailed terrorist Marwan Barghouti to lead the Palestinians, 16% prefer Hamas leader Ishmail Haniyeh and just 2% would vote for President Abbas. 40% wouldn’t vote The poll was conducted by Palestinian Center for Policy and Survey Research (PSR) in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip between 5-10 March 2024 Read the full survey here: https://www.pcpsr.org/en/node/969
