Note there are no calls in Gaza for peace with Israel. No calls to release the hostages. No calls to end genocidal jihadist fantasies. These protests are happening for one reason only: Hamas is conspicuously losing the war. If Hamas started dragging hostages into Gaza tomorrow, the same people would be in streets cheering. People need to stop projecting western values and hopes onto Islamist societies.

Unbelievable—it’s almost midnight in Gaza City, Al-Saraya, and the protests are still going strong. Crowds remain in the streets, chanting: “Hamas out, out!”
