Trump's recent intervention in Venezuela has inspired China's own military. China's special forces last week held a drill where they played out a scenario where they would deploy special forces into Tapei to arrest/lock down Taiwan's leadership. My assumption is that if this ever happens it will be via a coordinated coup with Pro PRC elements in the Taiwanese army, an easy way to reunify Taiwan with the mainland without major bloodshed. The Trump Doctrine could become a long standing global model used by the great powers of our era. What a time to be alive.
