The whole world knows that Jews refer to Jerusalem as Urshalim or Yerushalayim. This is not a Hebrew word; it is an Arabic Canaanite Jebusite term. When the Canaanites built this city, they named it Jebus, which was its first name. When was this? In the fourth millennium B.C., meaning the age of Jerusalem is six thousand years. The Jebusites were Arabs who came directly from the Arabian Peninsula in a straight line to this sacred place, "Jerusalem." They took it and conquered it; we do not know if it was inhabited or not, and they built this city and named it Jebus. When does the Prophet Abraham, who is the ancestor of the Jews and also the ancestor of the Arabs, come to this city, "Jerusalem"? He comes in the nineteenth century B.C., which is more than 2,000 years after the founding of Jerusalem. Thus, the Prophet Abraham (peace be upon him) is a stranger in this city according to the Hebrew Bible's Book of Genesis: "And Abraham lived as a stranger in the land of Canaan." The Prophet Abraham lived as a stranger and died as a stranger. The Book of Genesis tells us that Sarah, the wife of Abraham (peace be upon him), died at the age of 127. Abraham was puzzled about where to bury her because he was a stranger in this land and owned nothing in it. So what did he do? The Canaanite people offered him a place, and it was agreed that he would buy this place for 400 shekels, and now the Jews refer to this currency as "shekel." The Jews even appropriated the name of the currency and claimed it as their own. Abraham (peace be upon him), who is the father of the Jews and their ancestor, is also our father and our ancestor. He is the father of Isaac, the grandfather of Jacob, and he is also the father of Ishmael, and we are the children of Ishmael. However, Abraham (peace be upon him) was a stranger in the land of Canaan. Based on history and the text of the Book of Genesis, they have no more right here than any of the invaders. Jerusalem was not only invaded by the Hebrews; it was also conquered by Alexander the Great, the Romans, and the Byzantines for nearly ten centuries. Does this mean that they have the right to it today? If the rule of invasion and occupation grants the Jews a right twenty times greater than what they have, because the Jews did not reside in this holy city for more than 420 years, which was the period of the kingdoms of Daoud and Soliaman, and everything ended there. Muslims occupied Andalusia for 830 years. Do we have the right to say that we want Spain because it belongs to Muslims?

The last time there was a sovereign state on the land was the Kingdom of Israel. After that, the land belonged to nobody and remained under the rule of conquering empires and Caliphs. The next time there was a sovereign state on the land was the state of Israel. So to summarize: in all of history since time began, there have only been two sovereign states on the land: the Kingdom of Israel and the State of Israel But the only people who have NO claim to the land according to western leftists are *checks notes* the Jews? Just trying to make sure I’ve nailed down the logic of the “anti-racist” “anti-colonialists.”
