They claim there is a genocide ongoing, and yet they don't want Palestinian civilians to be able to flee? That shows they know they are lying about the genocide. And are you aware of any other conflict in which "human rights" groups have argued that neighboring countries should not fulfill their treaty and moral obligations to accept refugees, even when there is no claim of genocide? Why are only Palestinians supposed to suffer because of a hypothetical? And btw, the real fear is not that Israel won't let them back in, but that they will not *want* to go back, but would rather find a visa to some country where they won't have to live under whatever Palestinian dictatorship replaces Hamas, and likely continues to provoke Israel into war. Ie, the allegedly pro-Palestinian side wants, rather explicitly, to prevent Palestinians from exercising agency, in service to their underlying ideological agenda. Which, once again, is to destroy Israel.
