Courtesy of Shabbos Kestenbaum, I learn that Wilmer Hale misspelled "Brandeis" as "Brandies" twice in a recent brief in the pending antisemitism case. I don't know what the culture at big firms is like now, but in my day, you paid the big $$$$ not just for their legal acumen, but because they wouldn't make embarrassing mistakes like this. Heads would roll. /1
