In 2020, Donald Trump pardoned suffragette Susan B. Anthony for her crime of voting when it wasn’t legal to do so. The Susan B. Anthony Museum rejected his pardon because Susan B. Anthony did not accept she had committed a crime and therefore did not need a pardon.
