"You were supposedly raped?" Tacopina asked. "Not 'supposedly,' I was raped." Carroll replied. Tacopina: "That's your version." Carroll: "Those are the facts." Rape victims asked to recount their trauma are ultimately victimized upon every retelling of what occurred, and the reliving of the incident is compounded by people disbelieving their account.
