To be fair, this isn't new data and it has been reported on for a while! Here's a chart from a fact sheet on the issue we put out at @immcouncil. The overwhelming majority of fentanyl smugglers are US citizens paid to bring a few pounds or less across the border in a car.

It would be wildly refreshing if @CNN or other networks said this ON AIR. "80% of those arrested for smuggling fentanyl at US ports of entry are US citizens"
