I kept saying this to anyone who would listen, but it gives me no joy to have been correct. I argued that as Israel defeats Hamas and Hezbollah, Jihadi cowards will lash out at the soft targets—the Jews in the West, protected only by the dismal local police instead of by the IDF. As the streets of Europe, after a 70-year intermission, revert to their default state over the last 1,000 years—hunting grounds for Jews, just with a new variety of pogromist—Jews ironically enter the Shabbat when they read the story of Abraham, told Lech Lecha, "Go to the Promised Land." Some people never imagined they would see another pogrom in enlightened Europe, but Europe became so enlightened that it invited millions of young men from unenlightened places, and they brought their bloodlust with them. Shabbat shalom, despite it all.

@afneil It's going to get so much worse as they realise that Hamas is finished. Gonna be grim.
