Taxes are a fee you pay to live in society. Once you pay those taxes, you don’t get a direct say in their use because it’s no longer your money. You get an indirect say in their use by voting for a representative who will then exercise their duty to make that decision for you. No, grasshoppers, you are not better positioned to know how that money should be used.
