I HAVE HUGE NEWS!!! FLORIDA IS LOOKING TO BAN SLOTH IMPORTS TEMPORARILY 🦥🦥🦥🦥🦥 Here's why this matters - Sloth World imported DOZENS of sloths, gave them horrible care and they almost all died - Sloths go through trauma when they're imported. Incredibly delicate nervous systems. We need to stop importing them. Their signs of trauma also show up late which makes treatment harder - Almost all sloth imports to US come in through Florida and most are stolen from their homes in the wild (via my research and FOIA of import data) - This is step 1 and a BIG step 1. Time for a federal permanent ban, USDA APHIS oversight and fixes, and more state level fixes.
