HAPPENING NOW: An incredible group of non-Jewish Harvard students are touring Israel to better understand the conflict as part of the student-initiated Israel Trek. From Jerusalem to the West Bank, they'll be meeting with Jewish, Muslim, Christian, and Druze leaders. They've already gone to the Nova festival site, and are headed to Yad Vashem as well. Although the Harvard Palestine Solidarity Committee and numerous Professors repeatedly try boycotting this trip, and past participants have reported being bullied on their return to campus, this is what true learning looks like. Unlike most classes on campus, there is no political agenda on this trip. Students are encouraged to ask, critique, and formulate their own opinion. These students should be applauded for challenging the political indoctrination and antisemitism that has come to define Harvard University. Irrespective of whatever positions they take, these students represent the best of us. Thank you for being there!
