Now that’s funny. I didn’t realize Mehdi Hasan was switching from whatever he calls what he does now (#notjournalism) to stand-up comedy. He calls me a shill? I served 25 years active duty in the U.S. military. He spent nearly a decade as a paid mouthpiece for Qatar on Al Jazeera. Yes, I was a commander in Iraq. I led operations that killed or captured Al-Qaeda terrorists. It worked. Just like it worked in World War II and in every war where defeating evil meant arming locals and building alliances. He was probably crying about Al-Qaeda getting killed. And it is working in Gaza. Hamas is being dismantled militarily, economically, socially. Despite his disgusting positions, it is working.
