Just watched Digital Foundry's Starfox review and immediately noticed this bit: https://youtu.be/OMYP4wF4tNo?t=647 So here's the problem: The player is supposed to shoot those little launch bays, but there's literally 0 feedback when they do so, you never get any clue as a player if you're even shooting the right stuff. What's the fix? Peppy comes in and explains what you ought to do! Yuck! That's awful. This is Nintendo and we're still having trouble with doing proper hit feedback in 2026? Since this is such an amateur mistake to make, I quickly went and checked if this was actually the case in Starfox 64 on the N64 and lo and behold: NO! Starfox 64 on the N64 absolutely did have proper hit feedback - You shoot the launch bays and you did get good hit feedback there. A lot of times these remakes are done by folks that don't quite understand the basics and as a result of that, the remake ends up being actually worse than the original... And if you think this stuff doesn't matter and I'm complaining about a nothingburger: Hell no, game juice and feedback is INCREDIBLY important and can make the difference between a crappy and a great game! @dark1x Did you not notice this while reviewing the game?
