Interesting and informative for shareholders to know that Shopify board member doesn’t care about the reputational harm the CEO is doing to the company.

According to the Rosie O’Donnell and Kathy Griffin of Canada, your accomplishments don’t count if you engage in wrongthink Sure, Tobi brought jobs, talent, relevance, and revenue to Toronto over multiple decades. But don’t be fooled by what he’s built - he “hates” that city, judging by a comment about town halls And sure, Shopify is one of Canada’s 3 largest companies and the only one not started in the 1800s or named in honor of the monarchy. But akshually - it “isn’t remotely” that large when you switch to a different metric, like headcount or heretical tweets by the CEO (In fact, Shopify isn’t even in the top 100 Canadian companies when you consider wrongthink-adjusted EBITDA) It’s weird to see an earnest argument that commentary matters more than real value created, but maybe unsurprising from people whose listed jobs are both (what else?) “commentator”
