Alejandro Betancourt, the man leading Trump's "biggest oil deal in history" over Venezuela's oil fields appears in the Epstein files. ￭ Betancourt, now heading NABEP, was recommended to Jeffrey Epstein for Venezuelan oil investment by Francisco D'Agostino, a businessman linked to Epstein's sex trafficking network. ￭ Betancourt backed Juan Guaidó's failed US-backed coup against Maduro, fled Venezuela under money laundering investigations, and was arrested twice in Britain in 2025 before US diplomatic intervention cleared his path back to Caracas. ￭ NABEP now holds 100-year concessions over 17 Venezuelan oil fields with 65 billion barrels in reserves.
