There are plenty of good critiques of Yudkowsky (!), but this isn't one. He doesn't actually believe the probability is 100% that ASI will kill everyone -- it's more like 99%. Being a Bayesian doesn't mean you think everything's a coin toss.

Yudkowsky has spent his entire career championing Bayesian epistemology: the discipline of reasoning under uncertainty using probability theory. Now he’s arrived at the categorical “stop AI or everyone dies.” It’s hard not to see this as a demonstration of just how far his reasoning can drift from his own proclaimed rationality principles. How irrational can the founder of the Yudkowskian-rationalist movement go? 🙃
